wraparound care for children aged four to eleven
How to Register
If you would like your child to attend Ashton Gate Out of School Care, you need to complete the following steps. If you have any questions about any stage of this process, please do not hesitate to contact us to ask for help.
Step 1: Complete the Registration Form
The registration form lets you tell us all the information we need to know before your child starts: including your child’s medical history, your child’s doctor, and how to contact you in an emergency. The forms for the 2017-18 school year, which starts with Summer 2017, are now available.
Families with children starting in Reception in September 2017 at Ashton Gate School will be sent registration packs by the end of May. Packs will also be available at the Reception Evening on 21st June. Alternatively you can download them here:
Step 2: Pay the Registration Fee
The registration fee is due at the time of registration. The registration year runs from Summer 2017 to Term 6 2018. 2017-18 Registration Fee is £50. The registration fee applies to each family; there is no charge for additional children. It may be paid by: cash or cheque to Caretaker’s House; by childcare vouchers; or by electronic bank transfer.
|Breakfast Club:||£4.80 per session per child|
|After School Club:||£9.95 per session per child|
|Holiday Playscheme:||£26.00 finishing at 4 pm
£28.00 finishing at 6 pm
£30.00 Trip and some Workshop days; finishing time will be announced in advance.
We have increased the fees for the first time in three years to cover increasing staff costs, overheads and reduction in non-fee income. We have also simplified the registration fee structure to cover our administration costs and give access to all three clubs.
All booked places must be paid for weekly in advance. If you have any problems with payments please contact the Administrator as soon as possible.
Arrears Administration charge: £3. The arrears administration process is explained in the Terms and Conditions
Step 3: Register with AGOSC
When you have brought us the registration form(s) and registration fee, we will process your booking. You will receive a booking confirmation via email. If you have registered for holiday playscheme, you will also receive a login for
Libacura, our online booking system.
If you wish to discuss some aspect of your child’s care or medical history with the Playcentre Manager and/or your child’s Key Person, please ring 0117 983 3426 or pop into Caretakers House during our opening hours. If you would like to bring your child for a visit before they start, we would be delighted to see you.
Step 4: Paying for Sessions
Session fees are due before the session takes place. They can be paid weekly, monthly, or termly. Statements are sent out by email during the first full week of each term and the Summer Holiday Playscheme; you can request an up-to-date statement for your account at any time.
Fees can be paid by electronic transfer to our bank account (details upon request). We also accept Allsave, BAND, Bath & North East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council, Busy Bees, Care-4, C.I.S., Computershare, Co-operative Employee Benefits, Edenred, Employers for Childcare, Fair Care, Fideliti, Hello Charlie, Kiddivouchers, Kids Unlimited, P.E.S., RG Childcare, and Sodexo childcare vouchers. Help with Childcare Costs
We understand that in these challenging times, childcare costs can seem like another huge expense that stretches already tight budgets. To help, we would like to point you in the direction of The Daycare Trust’s website and, in particular their Paying for Childcare page. There is information and guidance for working parents, parents who are studying and also a Tax Credit checker so that you can find out what you are eligible for.
AGOSC is registered with Ofsted so our fees are eligible for Working Tax Credits. We also accept many voucher payments and are happy to register with others where possible. There are some relevant and useful information leaflets below but if you have any questions about this or would like some further information please feel free to ask us.
