Bella is a Key Person for Purple Penguins (Reception- Bumblebees).
Bella joined AGOSC in 2004, became Deputy Playcentre Manager in 2007, and was appointed Playcentre Manager in 2015. She has a Diploma in Playwork and a Foundation Degree in Early Years, Bella has over 17 years of childcare experience and has taken many courses including Safeguarding Disabled Children and Safer recruitment and epilepsy.

Lauren M – Deputy Playcentre Manager

Lauren is the Key Person for the Red Roosters (Year 1- Apple).
Lauren has a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years, Foundation Degree in Playwork and a BA (Hons) Degree in Education and Childhood studies. Lauren has also undertaken other relevant training such as: Safeguarding, Health and Safety and inspiring leadership. As well as being the Deputy Playcentre Manager for Key Stage 1.

Lauren P – Deputy Playcentre Manager

Lauren is the Key Person for the Green Gorillas (Year 2 – Sycamore).
Lauren joined AGOSC in 2009 and became Deputy playcentre manager in 2019. Lauren mainly works over at old chapel park (KS2 site).Lauren has completed numerous childcare courses over the years and has completed a Childcare and Education Cache course at Level 3 and is First Aid trained.

Gemma – Deputy Playcentre Manager

Gemma is a Key Person for the Red Roosters (Year 1 – Cherry).
Gemma has a Undergrad Degree in Early Years, a Level 3 qualification in Forest School and is PGCE Qualified. She also has undertaken other training such as child protection, First Aid and GDPR.

Charlotte – EYFS Senior Playworker

Charlotte is a Key Person for the Purple Penguins (Reception- Caterpillars).
Charlotte joined AGOSC in 2018. Charlotte holds a BA (Hons) in fine Art and a Level 2 Playwork qualification. She is also trained in First Aid and safeguarding. Charlotte is also one of the leaders of our of Green Club, co-planning and running activities for the children.

Jake – KS2 Senior Playworker

Jake is a Key Person for the Green Gorillas (Year 2 – Oak) & Orange Octopus (Year 3).
Jake has over 2 years experience volunteering in a sporting environment with children and holds a Level 3 Diploma in sports coaching and performance development. Jake has a BSc (Hons) in Sport, Fitness and Coaching and holds qualifications for First Aid, Administering Medicine and Makaton.

Amber- KS2 Senior Playworker

Amber is a Key Person for the Green Gorillas (Year 2 – Rowan).
Amber is mainly based at the Old Chapel Park site. She has a level 2 in Playwork and a level 3 in Health and Social Care. She has trained in Food Safety and Health and Safety.

Alice – Forest School Lead & EYFS Senior Playworker

Alice joined AGOSC in January 2023.
She has a CACHE level 3 in Childcare & Education and a Foundation Degree in Early Years. Alice has 12 years of experience working with children and has taken many courses over the years including forest school, story telling, basic makaton, experimental cookery, autism awareness, speech and language and safeguarding.

Martin – Playworker

Martin is a Key Person for the Purple Penguins (Reception- Ladybirds & Butterflies).
Mart has worked at AGOSC for just over three years. He holds qualifications in safeguarding children, health and safety, fire safety, food safety and first aid.
He has also completed the training courses in Child psychology, equality and diversity and mental health and bullying along with various other courses to do with working in a childcare setting.

Queenie – Playworker

Queenie is a key person for Red Roosters (Year 1 – Beech).
Queenie joined AGOSC in 2022. She has A Levels in Psychology, Biology, English, and Maths and was elected Head Student at school, organising various sporting events as well as prom. She volunteered at AGOSC for 4 years before becoming a permanent member of the team.

Tina – Playworker

Tina is a Key Person for the Green Gorillas (Year 2 – Maple).
Tina joined AGOSC in 2012. She is mainly based at OCP. Tina has a level 3 in Playwork and is trained in First Aid, Health and Safety, Child Protection, Positive Handling, Autism Awareness. Makaton and positive body image.

Claire – Playworker

Claire is a Key Person for the Orange Octopus (Year 3).
Claire joined AGOSC in 2013 and also joined Ashton Gate Primary School in 2006 and has worked in years 1-6 mainly on a 1:1 basis with children needing additional support. Many children find it reassuring to see a familiar face both in school and at AGOSC. Claire did a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature with the Open University. She is also chair of North Street Traders association.
Charlotte – Playworker

Charlotte is the Key Person for the Blue Bumblebees (Year 4).
Charlotte joined AGOSC in 2009 and holds a Level 3 in Playwork, level2 certificate in child counselling services and Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism. She also holds qualifications in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Celebrating Cultures with Food. Charlotte enjoys running fundraising projects and projects with the children such as crochet and paper mache.

Mel is the Key Person for the Yellow Yetis (Year 5).
Mel Joined AGOSC in 2021 and holds a Level 2 Playworker qualification. Mel is a member of the Forest School team, is well know for her creative activities and her amazing fancy dress outfits.

Laura is the Key Person for the Pink Pandas (Year 6).
Laura is based at the Old Chapel Park site. She has a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years and a BA(Hons) Primary Education in Early Years Degree. Laura is trained in First Aid and has taken many courses including safeguarding, ADHD, inspiring leadership, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety.

Sarah B – Playwoker

Sarah joined AGOSC in 2023.
Sarah holds a BSc (Hons) in Social Policy. She is also trained in food safety and has completed a range of online safeguarding and mental health courses. Sarah is one of the Playworkers at AGOSC and is involved in running the Green Club.

Sarah joined AGOSC in 2021.
Sarah is passionate about art and design and currently is studying interior design at uwe.
She loves using this background to create activities and craft with the children.
She holds a BAFA ( French) diplomat which translates to a childcare aptitude certificate for activity leaders on holiday camps.

Stella – Forest School Playworker

Stella Joined AGOSC in 2023.
Stella has recently moved back to Bristol after graduating university where she studied BA English & Film Studies in Leeds. Many years ago, she attended Ashton Gate Primary and also went to AGOSC. She thought what could be more interesting than returning to AGOSC to work as a forest school play worker!

Lizzie – Playworker

Lizzie joined AGOSC in 2013 and has a Diploma in Playwork and has trained in Safeguarding and outdoor Paediatric First Aid . Lizzie has a Level 3 forest school qualification and she leads the Thursday Forest school session. Lizzie is also a children’s yoga teacher.
